Network Defense Essentials is a first-of-its-kind MOOC certification that provides foundational knowledge and skills in network security with add-on labs for handson experience. The course includes 12 modules and optional upgrades to lab ranges covering fundamental network security concepts, including IoT, cryptography, and PKI

The objectives of the training is to provide participans basic knowledge and skills in the field of network security. The training covers important topics such as understanding security threats, assessing security risks, developing security plans, implementing security measures, monitoring and analyzing network traffic, and the skills to detect and neutralize malware.

After completing this course, students will be able to:
